SURAH AL FAHTIHA سُورَة الفَاتِحَه सुरह अल फह्तिहा بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِيمِ . 1 Bismi Allāhi Ar-Raĥmāni Ar-Raĥīmi TRANSLATION شروع الله کے نام سے جو بڑا مہربان نہایت رحم والا ہے In the name of God, Most Gracious, Most Merciful. अल्लाह के नाम से जो बहुत महरबान, रहम करने वाला हे | .............................................................................................. الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ رَبِّ الْعَالَمِينَ Al-Ĥamdu Lillāhi Rabbi Al-`Ālamīna TRANSLATION سب تعریفیں الله کے لیے ہیں جو سب جہانوں کا پالنے والا ہے तमाम तारीफै अल्लाह के लिये हे जो तमाम जहनो का रब हे, (२) Praise be to God, the Cherisher and Sustainer of the world ............................................................................................... الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِيمِ Ar-Raĥmāni Ar-Raĥīmi TRANSLATION بڑا مہربان نہایت رحم والا बहुत मेहरबान, रहम कराने वाला हे | (३). Most Gracious, Most Merciful ............................................................................................... مَالِكِ يَوْمِ الدِّينِ Māliki Yawmi Ad-Dīni TRANSLATIONS جزا کے دن کا مالک बदले के दिन का मालिक हे Master of the Day of Judgment. ............................................................................................... إِيَّاكَ نَعْبُدُ وَإِيَّاكَ نَسْتَعِينُ 'Īyāka Na`budu Wa 'Īyāka Nasta`īnu TRANSLATIONS ہم تیری ہی عبادت کرتے ہیں اور تجھ ہی سے مدد مانگتے ہیں हम सिर्फ़ तेरी ही ;इबादत करते हे ओर सिर्फ़ तुज़ ही से मदद चातहे हे | 5 Thee do we worship, and Thine aid we seek. ............................................................................................... اهْدِنَا الصِّرَاطَ الْمُسْتَقِيمَ Ahdinā Aş-Şirāţa Al-Mustaqīma TRANSLATIONS ہمیں سیدھا راستہ دکھا हमे सीधे रस्ते की हिदायत दे, Show us the straight way, ............................................................................................... صِرَاطَ الَّذِينَ أَنْعَمْتَ عَلَيْهِمْ غَيْرِ الْمَغْضُوبِ عَلَيْهِمْ وَلاَ الضَّالِّينَ Şirāţa Al-Ladhīna 'An`amta `Alayhim Ghayri Al-Maghđūbi `Alayhim Wa Lā Ađ-Đāllīna AMEEN TRANSLATIONS ن لوگوں کا راستہ جن پر تو نے انعام کیا نہ جن پر تیرا غضب نازل ہوا اور نہ وہ گمراہ ہوئے उन लोगो& का रास्ते जिन पर तुने इनाम किया न उनके जिन पर गजब किया ओर न उनके जो गुमराह हुऐ I The way of those on whom Thou hast bestowed Thy Grace, those whose (portion) is not wrath, and who go not astray. This Surah is named Al-Fatihah because of its subjectmatter. Fatihah is that which opens a subject or a book or any other thing. In other words, Al-Fatihah is a sort of preface. Period of Revelation It is one of the very earliest Revelations to the Holy Prophet. As a matter of fact, we learn from authentic Traditions that it was the first complete Surah which was revealed to Muhammad (Allah's peace be upon him). This Surah is in fact a prayer which Allah has taught to all those who want to make a study of His book. It has been placed at the very beginning of the book to teach this lesson to the reader: if you sincerely want to benefit from the Quran, you should offer this prayer to the Lord of the Universe.
